The weather on May 30 was spectacular and so was the wedding of Katie and Tom. I've put together some representative images for the day in this slideshow. But please view the proofs by clicking on the "View Images" button on the web site and then going to the "View Wedding Images" link. You'll get instructions on how to use my new Pictage service for viewing and purchasing proof prints. And there's some specials on there for free prints.
We want to thank both the Cantwell's and the Bove's for a wonderful day and event. What a success!!
I shot at the annual Italian Market Festival in Philly over the weekend. Wow...what a shooting event!! The colors, the activity, the people......in fact, I did a slideshow on just this topic....the people. I call it the "Faces of the Festival".....take a look.
I have an opportunity to shoot at the "studio" of Rose Valley Restorations, a very high end furniture restoration and building company in West Chester. John Hutchinson is the owner. I'm going to try to work a little photoessay on the operation....and particularly their very cool digs there on Prescott Alley in the Borough. If you get a chance, stop by and say hello. And certainly if you have any furniture repairs that you need to make....they are your people. Here's a little slideshow from my first days' shoot there.
I found a great skate park in Philly over the weekend, under I-95 near the stadiums in FDR Park. The skaters were obviously very much into it and they were very very good. Here's a slide show of some of the images. For any of the skaters who are on these pictures, please send me an email and I will happily send you a print of even the digital file of the image for you to use as you want. Thanks for letting me shoot you guys.
I did a photoessay project a few years ago about a ballet company. I followed them for many months, shooting candid shots of practice, rehearsals and final performances. I've put together a small slideshow of some of that work below. Take a quick look and let me know what you think. I'll be doing more personal project photoessays, like the skateboarding example, here in the near future.
My good friends at the rock band REAL held a fundraiser on May 9. Nearly 100 people showed up for food (great food), fun and of course......"REAL" Music!. Here's a little slideshow of some of the images from the event, along with an interview with the band.
The day turned out to be great for Olivia and Chris, despite the earlier rain and cloudiness. It was a wonderful event that was enjoyed by many family members and friends. The proofs are online for your viewing. Just go to the web site, click on the "View Images" button and click to View Wedding Images. Instructions are provided to make your way through the Pictage service that I've just started using for my proofing. So please post a comment here if you would be so kind with your thoughts about the experience of using Pictage. And thanks for taking the time to do this for me.
This slideshow recognizes the many people and companies that worked hard together to help make the day a great success....and so much fun....for everyone. All of the vendors that Olivia and Chris selected have a long history of work in the wedding area and are very good at what they do. I'd like to present this little slideshow of some specific images that show some of the work, as well as some of the workers, who helped make the day a memorable one for all.

Welcome to my Blog and thanks for stopping by. The purpose of this Blog is to provide you with examples of my work on an ongoing basis......and to hear from you. I will be putting my wedding images on here, along with other work that I'll be doing: model or band shoots, commercial work and most importantly my ongoing photoessays. Please take a minute to add a post if you have any comments on the work .....as well as any insights and critiques. I welcome any comment and I'll be checking them and responding to them as best as I can.
